Running of the Bulldogs 2024
AUBURN, WA – On a glorious day at Emerald Downs, many bulldogs made their way to go racing. After eight qualifying heats, two championship heats were contested at about 50 yards on the racetrack.
Melo won the French Championship for owners Jackie Nguyen & Keon Almassi of Seattle. Melo also was the winner of the 2023 Bulldog Races. Melo is simply too fast for her competitors.
Kimberly Houghton’s Sir Nigel Pedington of Oak Harbor claimed the English Championship after overcoming a very poor start. He sped past many of his rivals in the last 20 yards.

Heat 8 (English) – Lady Fiona Fern (Sara & Shawn Lentz, Arlington), Rocky (Sparrow & India Tang, Greenview, CA), Willa-Mania (Dehne Elliott, Seattle)
