Emerald Downs 2021 Ticketing & Admission Information – Updated June 25, 2021

We are excited to welcome back fans for the 2021 racing season!  The health & safety of our fans, employees, and racing industry participants is and always will be our top priority! 

Tickets are on sale for all 2021 race dates.  You are strongly encouraged to pre purchase tickets on-line.  Tickets will also be available at the gates based on availability.  Daily attendance is limited.

Fully vaccinated fans attending live racing are not required to wear masks

  • All seating will be open with no social distancing requirements.
  • Masks are recommended only for fans who are not fully vaccinated.
  • We recommend non-vaccinated fans follow social distancing guidelines when standing in line, moving about the racetrack and in seating areas.

ADULT TICKET PRICES: $10 per person now includes general admission and a Race Program. This is a $2 savings from previous years.

ADULT TICKET AND RESERVED GRANDSTAND SEAT: $13 per person includes general admission, a Race Program, and a reserved grandstand seat.  (special events may have a higher price)

YOUTH TICKETS: $5 for ages 4-17 and under. ($8 includes a reserved seat)  Ages 3 and under are free and do not require a ticket.

PARKING: Free general parking.  $10 Preferred parking available on weekend race dates.

ADMISSION POLICIES: No outside food or beverages permitted with the exception of a sealed 32 oz bottle of water or smaller per person.

SEATING: General admission bench and table seating is available throughout the track.

SMOKING: Smoking is only allowed in the Park area (north of the grandstand).

FOOD & BEVERAGE/CONCESSIONS: All bars and concessions are cashless with the exception of Quick Pix Cafe on Floor 5. If you do not have a debit or credit card you may purchase a gift card at Customer Service on track level or Floor 5. You may also use Apple or Google Pay. Menus will be streamlined with food packaged and ready to expedite your time at the concession stands.

GIFT CARDS: May be purchased at Customer Service on track level or Floor 5. These cards can be replenished at any Customer Service location. Gift cards can be used at any concession or beer stands throughout the facility.

WAGERING: A greater percentage of wagering machines will be self-service. Contactless wagering is available using while at the track. See customer service for details.

RACING FORMS: Forms and simulcast programs will be sold at customer service.

GIFT SHOP: The Gift Shop is open on track level.

5th FLOOR DINING TABLES: All Rainier Dining tables will be open on Floor 5. Each table has a television monitor. These will be first come, first served on each race day. There will be no dining service. You may order food and beverages at Quick Pix and bring them to your table. Other tables on the 5th floor are also available first come, first served.

BOX SEATS: Boxes (Four and six seats) will be sold by calling customer service at 253-288-7711. Box Seats are available on Floors 3 & 5. Box seats are $10 per person after $10 admission fee.

SUITES: There are four suites available each race day and the Trackside Pavilion. Please call  253-288-7700 if you are interested. The suites are the Mountain View, Derby, Preakness and Belmont located on the 6th floor with a terrific view of the racetrack. More info

HORSEMEN: All WHRC current license holders and WTBOA members may enter for free and may also bring one adult guest and two youths. Horsemen can simply show their WHRC license at the front gates.

SIMULCASTING: Watch & wager on tracks from coast to coast every Wednesday through Sunday on Floor 5. Admission is Free except during live racing hours. On race days we begin charging admission three hours prior to the first live race of the day.  Gates open 30 minutes prior to the first simulcast race of the day.
