AUBURN, WA – Talk about one exciting Corgi Championship race! This race will go down in history as four Corgis battled every inch of the Emerald Downs dirt racetrack all hitting the finish line nearly at the same time.

It was a fantastic day of Corgi Racing in front of a huge throng of spectators on the Sunday afternoon.

After many replays of the championship, and using slow motion videos, the Emerald Downs officials agreed upon the winner being #1 Wrong Way Loki. Wrong Way Loki was the first to break the plane of the finish line.

Wrong Way Loki (#1) owned by Terence Ng of Everett narrowly defeated Bailey (3), Norman (#4) and Solo (#7) in a dramatic finish. “Wrong Way Loki was about to take first last year (in a preliminary heat) but ran the wrong way right at the finish line. He promised not to make the same mistake again,” Ng stated.
