AUBURN, WA – Luca (#9) was a runaway winner in the 2023 Wiener Dog Championship heat for owners Alexandra & Alex Borowiecki of Seattle. Luca, who won the 2022 Championship, was so interested in the Emerald Downs Drone that when the Drone took off for the finish line, Luca did the same as he raced after the Drone and right on past the finish line chasing the Drone.
The Wiener Wannabe Championship came down to two Wannabes hitting the wire together. After watching the Big Screen TV numerous times, the officials decided it was a dead heat!
The Real Slim Lady (#5) and Arlo the Long Boi (#8) could not be separated after dashing the 50 yards. What an exciting race!
The Real Slim Lady is owned by Trevor Schneider & Taylor Knapp of Seattle. Arlo the Long Boi’s owner is Jamie Jensen.
