2nd annual Running of the Bulldogs

Thoroughbred racing starts at 2:15 PM, the Bulldogs (French and English) will run between the horse races and the championship will be later in the day.

Entries have closed for this years race. No dogs are allowed at Emerald Downs except for service dogs and dogs that are competing in the races.

Running of the Bulldogs Format

After the 2nd Horse Race (Approximately 3PM)

Heat 1 (French)

Heat 2 (English)

Heat 3 (French)

Heat 4 (French)

Heat 5 (English)

After the 4th Horse Race (Approximately 4:05 PM)

Heat 6 (French)

Heat 7 (French)

Heat 8 (French)

Heat 9 (English)

After the 5th Horse Race (Approximately 4:45 PM)

Championship (The top two finishers in each of the prior races will run in championship heat, 10 total)

All participants may stay and enjoy the entire day in the park area. Please keep all dogs in the park area when you are not racing.
