OPENING DAY SUNDAY, APRIL 27
AUBURN, Wash. (Nov. 8) – Emerald Downs has announced 51 days of live racing—beginning April 27 and finishing Sept. 7—for its 30th season of live racing in 2025.
Opening Day, Sunday, April 27, is a week earlier than last year and closing day, Sunday, Sept. 7, also is a week earlier than last year. The 51-day meet features 18 Saturdays, 18 Sundays, 13 Fridays, and special racing days on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, and the annual Fireworks Spectacular on Thursday, July 3.
Post time on weekends is 1:50 p.m. while Friday post time remains 7 p.m. A 5 p.m. post is in effect July 3.
New for 2025 is a mid-season break, spanning Friday, July 4 to Thursday, July 10.
The 2025 stakes schedule—featuring the 90th renewal of the Longacres Mile—along with a full promotional calendar will be announced in December.
