Handicapping Contest ($40 buy in)

MUST BE PRESENT TO PLAY IN THE CONTEST

Sign ups will be on the 5th floor near the elevator starting at 11 AM

• Live money contest, every player starts with $40. Each player will select five races from both Emerald Downs and Del Mar and place a $2 win and $2 place ticket on one horse in each of the 10 races.
• After all races are completed, the top five players will be ranked by the total money returned on their $2 win, $2 place tickets. Maximum pay is $42 to win and $22 to place.
• Official rules will be available at the sign-up table
• All money on your Handicapping Contest Card can be cashed in after the last race has been contested

WINNER – $500

2nd – $250

3rd – $150

4th – $100

If someone wins all three handicapping contests, that player will receive a $5,000 bonus

If a contestant were to win two of the three contests, that handicapper will receive a $1,500 bonus.

With three different winners, players will receive the following points:

1st – 6 points * 2nd – 5 points * 3rd – 3 points * 4th – 2 points * 5th – 1 point
