The Diaper Derby heats will be between the horse races.

If the weather is to hot, the race could be contested underneath the Grandstand.

Saturday, July 6, 2024 – Official Rules and Regulations

Entry into this contest implies acceptance with the complete contest rules listed below.

1. Babies must be 4-15 months but cannot be walkers. Crawlers only.
2. If a baby stands, they are automatically disqualified.
3. Two escorts may accompany the baby to the track.
4. Parents/Guardians may use objects (toys, keys, etc.) to encourage babies along the course. Both adults must stay behind both the starting line and the finish line at all time.
5. The Racecourse will extend approximately 10 yards ending at the finish line as marked.
6. If no baby has reached the finish line after two minutes the race will stop and the winner will be the baby that progressed the furthest towards the finish.
7. If at any point race participants become uncomfortable with the situation (crying, refusal to move, etc.), parents/guardians may remove their baby from the race.
8. There will be three races with up to 5 babies in each. The three winners will meet in the championship Crawl-Off.
9. All participants will receive a prize. The champion will receive a trophy.
