LOVETHISBAR RAZOR SHARP IN FRIDAY FEATURE

AUBURN, Wash. (May 26, 2017) – Loverthisbar shook clear into the lane and held Zoombadaboom safe for a three-length victory Friday in the $11,200 Muckleshoot Casino Purse for 3-year-old fillies at Emerald Downs.

Well handled by jockey Isaias Enriquez, Lovethisbar covered six furlongs in 1:10.65 and paid $8.20, $4.20 and $3.60. Brad Taylor is the winning trainer and co-owner with Randy Pray.

An Oregon-bred by Demon Warlock-Trainingat the Bar, Lovethisbar dueled with Girls First and Livintheleftlane through fractions of :22.56 and :45.87, put those two away into the stretch and had plenty in the tank for the victory. Earning $6,160 for the victory, Lovethisbar is 3-2-2 in 11 career starts with earnings of $28,358.

Zoombadaboo, the 2-to-1 betting favorite ridden by Rocco Bowen, rallied from last to finish second and paid $3.40 and $2.80. Little Joker, ridden by Javier Matias, finished third and paid $4.60 to show while Toddies Hottie, Livinintheleftlane, Dakotas New Wheels and Girls First completed the order of finish.

Both the winner and runner-up were claimed Friday for $10,000 by trainer Jeff Metz.

NOTES: J.C. Estrada rode his first Emerald Downs winner since 2008 aboard Image Of Truth ($9.80) in Friday’s fourth race for trainer Charles Essex. Estrada, 55, was voted the 2007 Lindy Award for sportsmanship by his fellow riders at Emerald Downs. . . Jockey Leonel Camacho-Flores made it 250 career wins at Emerald Downs with a gate-to-wire romp aboard Vistarella ($11.40) in Friday’s fifth race. . .Rocco Bowen rode two more winners–already his 12th multiple win day–and leads apprentice Kevin Orozco 34-21 in the jockeys’ standings. . .Juan Gutierrez tallied in the nightcap on Hallowed Harbor ($4.80) for trainer Chris Stenslie.
