High School Proms at Emerald Downs

The most anticipated event of the year! We will make it all you dreamed of and more. Our pricing includes: standard room set-up and clean up, large dance floor, table linens, and Emerald Downs Security. Room rental is included with Proms of 200 guests or more, if numbers fall below 200, a room rental charge will apply. Emerald Room is a minimum of 150 guests

Saturday Schedule of Events April through September:
Due to live racing, set-up must begin after the last live race. Below is a suggested timeline.
7:30pm - Decorating may begin after the last live race
8:30pm - Guest arrival
8:30pm - Serving of buffet
12:30am - Group departure

All prom guests must arrive by 10:00PM. Once inside the building, students may not leave and re-enter the building. A minimum of 12 adult chaperones for the Emerald Room and 15 adult chaperones for the Rainier Terrace/Grandstand Level 3 must be provided by the school. Emerald Downs security officers are required for all evening events. One chaperone must be in each restroom as long as students are present.

The standard room setup is rectangular tables of 8 and/or 12.



Graduation Celebration Packages

All packages include plates and utensils, linens, and unlimited sodas.
Sales tax and service charge are included.
11:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
$28.00 per person

All American - BBQ Beef, Johnsonville Hot Dogs and Brats. Served with Emerald Greens salad with assorted dressings, potato salad, condiments, buns and assorted chips and cookies.

Build-Your-Own Sandwich Buffet - Sliced roast beef, turkey, ham; Swiss and cheddar cheeses, leaf lettuce, sliced tomatoes, deli breads and condiments. Served with chips and cookies.

Pasta Bar Luncheon - Sausage lasagna & Rigatoni with Blackened Chicken and Parmesan Cream Sauce.  Served with a classic Caesar salad, garlic breadsticks and cookies.

Dessert Buffet - Assorted Cakes and Cheesecakes, Strawberry Shortcakes, Assorted Cookies and Bars, Petits Fours and Miniature Pastries, Fresh Sliced Fruit with Devonshire Dip, Punch

$20.00 per person

Continental Breakfast - Includes fresh fruit bowl, yogurt, granola, donuts, assorted Danish & muffins, and orange juice.

Late Night Snack Package - Includes fresh fruit bowl, tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole,
assorted cookies and donuts.


Food & Beverage Minimums (apply to third floor)
For a three hour period the food & beverage minimum is
$1500 before service charge & tax

8pm-10:30pm timeframe may be available but must be pre-approved (not available
Thurs & Friday July-Sept.); 12 am earliest start time on Fridays

For two blocks of time to be used in one evening, the food & beverage minimum
is $2250 before service charge and tax (i.e. 11pm-5am).
