NOTES: Disruption was scratched with a foot abscess Sunday morning, trainer Monique Snowden said. The 4-year-old Street Boss gelding is possible for the June 15 Budweiser Handicap, and Snowden is hopeful an allowance race could be used as prep. . .Winning Machine appears in his fifth straight Governor’s Handicap and could join Wasserman (2007-08) and Handy N Bold as (1999, 2000, 2001, 2003) repeat Governor’s winners at EmD. . .Since 2010, Winning Machine has finished seventh, ninth, first and eighth in the Governor’s. His younger sister, Champaggneandcaviar runs in today’s Grade 3 Adoration Stakes at Santa Anita. . .Trainer Mike Puhich and co-owner North American Thoroughbred Racing (Mr. Bowling) won this race last year with Hoist. . . At 122 lbs, Absolutely Cool would be the second highest weighted winner of the race. Noosa Beach carried 123 lbs in the 2011 Governor’s. . .Trainer Tom Wenzel and jockey Rocco Bowen (Absolutely Cool) are a combined 7-for-12 in stakes the last two seasons at EmD, including a win by Stopshoppingdebbie in the Hastings Handicap last week.
