AGOODLAWYER WILL DO MAKES HER CASE
    IN SATURDAY EMERALD DOWNS FEATURE

AUBURN, Wash. (September 21, 2013) – Agoodlawyerwilldo wore down Inquiry Miss and Kamilche Gold and drew clear for a 3 ¼-length victory in the $11,650 feature race for 3-year-old fillies Saturday at Emerald Downs.

Ridden by Jennifer Whitaker, Agoodlawyerwilldo ran 6 ½ furlongs in 1:16.32 and paid $4.80, $2.80 and $2.40. Chris Stenslie is the trainer and co-owner with One Horse Will Do Corp.

A 3-year-old Kentucky-bred by Lawyer Ron, Agoodlawyer Willdo is finishing the season on a roll, winning two straight and three of her last four starts overall. Her lifetime record is 4-2-2 in 13 starts, with earnings of $38,171 including $6,408 for Saturday’s victory.

Inquiry Miss, ridden by Nate Chaves, took a short lead past mid-stretch but was overtaken by Agoodlawyer Willdo and finished second. Inquiry Miss paid $3.60 and $3.

Kamilche Gold, a 15-to-1 long shot ridden by Debbie Hoonan, was a neck back in third place and paid $5.20. Society Girl, Strange Luck and Premo Jewel completed the order of finish.

NOTES: Stenslie, fourth in the trainers’ standings with 32 wins, had back-to-back winners as Sharp Focus won Saturday’s sixth race…A victory on Sharp Focus ($7.80) in race six gave jockey Rocco Bowen his 50th win of the meet, equaling his total from last season…Hoonan and Javier Matias rode two winners each Saturday…Isaias Enriquez remains two wins behind the sidelined Juan Gutierrez in the jockeys’ standing. With four days left, defending champion Gutierrez owns a 96-94 lead…Jeff Metz took a 39-38 lead over Frank Lucarelli in the trainers’ standings, as West Jet ($14.40) prevailed in race six…Juan Sanguino continues to add to his single-season record for most wins by a Quarter Horse trainer, scoring his ninth win of the meet as Dashin Baby Boy ($6.80) and Leonel Camacho-Flores won the 400-yard opener in :20.61…Apprentice Maggie Hardison, who rode most of the meet at Emerald Downs, notched her first California win aboard Craspedia ($42) in the fourth race at Fairplex Park…Live racing continues Sunday with first post 2 p.m. The $22,575 allowance feature for older fillies and mares goes as race eight at 5:10 p.m., with 8-to-5 morning line favorite Kind of Naughty and 3-to-1 second choice Stephanie Plum both shooting for their fifth wins of the meeting.
